AUTHENTIC ASSESMENT

In preschool, the teachers all the time apply the authentic assesment, because the use of test is more difficult, and the children sometimes dont have the skills to do it. the principal and most important advantage of this assessment is: the students can apply you knowledge in real situation. I like the authentic assessment.

CHAIN DRILLS

The drill is a good strategie that we can use in the class, because allow the students practice dialogues and use a lot of vocabulary, also help them to improve your pronunciation and fluency.
For the teacher is very important the use of the drills, but can´t be the unique way to teach other language, it´s important apply other methods that allow the learners comunicative with other using correctly the four skills ( reading, writing, speaking and listening.

PROJECT COLOMBIA BILINGUE

the project is very interesting and is the first step to improve the english level in own country, but it's a hard work to develop in all country, because a lot of schools don't have the resources to do it and the teachers don't have the level for teach english.
Unfortunately the project in this moment only can be development with successfull for private schools.

My teacher

When I was in a elementary school I had a very good teacher, she taught me three years, since the third until fifth grade, she was very special for me, she was like a friend and always trust me, thanks for her I began to want to be a teacher.

In these moments some of my cousins are study with her in the same school, and all the time she ask for me and I ask for her. Unfortunatly I can't see her, because she work in Bogota.

Competences in our ELT

I Think that apply the competences in our ELT is a hard job, but not impossible. the first that the teachers we should to do is study a lot of about the competences and understand them for to create a good activities that allow to the students develop the skills to be bilingual.

these activities should be very interesting to the students and should be agreement with the context

English today and the future of english

Now in Colombia and the world, the english is increasing; the schools are becoming in bilingual and the children of three or four years old begin to learn a second language, fot that is very important that the teachers learn how to teach in english and improve your level, in the same form the people have the need to learn ingles because the world is changed and the news tecnologies demand the knowledge of the second language.
